A Woman’s Way is an intensive outpatient program tailored for women experiencing disruption to their mental and emotional well-being due to a mental health disorder or psychological stressors. For women who are highly motivated to learn and change while balancing the responsibilities of daily life, this program is least restrictive, meeting only three days a week, three hours each day. Additionally, weekly appointments with the psychiatrist and an individual therapist, assures the individualized attention only a specialized program can offer.

Often, more intensive therapy, combined with pharmacological therapy is needed to bring stabilization in mood, thoughts and emotions. For women who may have been hospitalized, our program offers a transition from inpatient care to a structured outpatient program where intensive therapy can begin.

We understand the uncertainty that can come for family members as women begin the healing process. We value the needs of all involved; providing education and support as well as therapy for spouses or other family members is a priority and dual responsibility that we perceive ourselves to have.
